2019年4月18日上午，“香港赛马会四川持续发展项目——香港中学生四川体育、生态学习团（总第六期）”在香港岛校长联会主席方仲伦校长带领下，文理书院张丽雯校长、余振强第二纪念中学李德辉校长；香港赛马会对外事务部主管潘太平先生、内地事务高级经理陈岳鹏、内地事务经理助理陈业康、内地事务主任刘美宝为马会随团代表，以及香港庇理罗士女子中学、爱庄月明中学、培侨中学的10多位教师及100多位中学生团员，一行港方共计120余人到访学院并参加由学院开设的“防灾减灾能力提升”研究型微课程。同时，四川成都市双流区组织部人才办牵头，双流区教育局李光纯局长领队、双流中学、双流棠湖中学和双流棠湖外国语学校校长和教师20余人出席了此次活动，观摩课程和加强川港交流。此外，由我院党支部研究生12名党员组成的“防灾减灾教育与科普志愿服务队”开启了首次志愿活动，全程服务川港防灾减灾教育交流。本次项目和活动由灾害教育研究中心田兵伟副教授主持。
In the morning of 18 April 2019, “Hong Kong jockey club -Sichuan sustainable development project -- Sichuan sports and Ecological Learning Group for Hong Kong secondary school students” under the leadership of Hong Kong Principals Association’s chairman Fang Zhonglun, Cognitio college principal Zhang Wenli、Yu Chun Keung Memorial College No. 2 principal Li Dehui; Hong Kong jockey club ( in charge of the mainland affairs) Pan Taiping, senior manager of the mainland affairs Chen Yuepeng , senior manager assistant Chen Yekang, the director of mainland affairs Liu Meibao, as well as over 10 teachers and 100 students who come from Belilios Public School, Caritas Chong Yuet Ming Secondary School and Pui Kiu Middle School have participate in the research courses of "upgrading the capacity of disaster prevention and mitigation ". Meanwhile, Shuangliu Commissioner of Education Li Guangchun、principals and teachers who come from Shuangliu Middle School, Shuangliu Tanghu Middle School and Shuangliu Tanghu Foreign Language School have attended to observe the curriculum and strengthen the culture exchanges between Sichuan and Hong Kong. In addition, 12 party member from IDMR named "disaster prevention and reduction and science volunteer service team" served Sichuan - Hong kong’s disaster prevention and reduction communication . This project was host by Associate Professor Tian Bingwei( Research Center For Disaster Education, SCU).
开幕式于上午9点在学院国际会议厅举行。首先，学院党组织书记、常务副院长陈勇表达了对交流团的欢迎，接着陈书记介绍了学院作为汶川地震后建立的全球唯一一所灾害相关研究学院的特色与科研实力；最后，重点介绍学院在马会的支持下已经与我校华西医院合作建立的唯一非军方最高级别应急医疗队，该应急医疗队于2018年5月得到世界卫生组织的认证评估，成为中国第一支世界最高级别的Type3 EMT。
The opening ceremony was held at 9AM in the international conference hall of IDMR. First, Secretary of the party committee and vice President of IDMR Chen Yong greeted to the Hong kong group. Then， he introduced IDMR which is the only one disaster research institute in the world that established after Wenchuan earthquake. Finally, he highlighted that IMDR and West China Hospital has established the only one non-military highest level emergency medical team which has been certified and evaluated by the World Health Organization in May 2018, It becomes the first Type3 EMT level in China .

开幕式最后，田兵伟副教授简单介绍了课程的构成，并引导大家分组进入接下来的课程学习。课程分为应急计划和备灾准备：主要包括学院应急预案编写、校园应急地图绘制、和小组应急包准备；灾害逃生及模拟演练：主要包括灭火器的使用技能及其应用；和紧急医学及生命救助：主要包括常见外伤包扎和处理三个模块。灾害教育研究中心田兵伟副教授、佟乐老师和许成哲老师对学生进行了授课，“防灾减灾教育与科普志愿服务队”12名研究生作为课程助教与香港师生进行了交流。老师和学生们课堂参与度很高，对防灾减灾知识和课程的设计表现出了浓厚的兴趣。
At the end of the opening ceremony, Associate Professor Tian Bingwei had a briefly introduced the composition of the curriculum. The curriculum is divided into emergency plan and disaster preparation: it includes the preparation of emergency plan, campus emergency map, and the preparation of emergency kit; disaster escape and simulation drilling: it includes how to use the fire extinguisher and it’s applications; emergency medicine care and life rescue: it includes trauma bandage and treatment. Associate Professor Tian Bingwei, Tong le and Xu Chengzhe gave lectures and 12 postgraduate students worked as teaching assistant to communicate with teachers and students from Hong Kong. Teachers and students were enthusiastic of classroom interaction and showed great interest in curriculum design of disaster risk reduction.

在课程最后的分享总结会上，香港校长联会主席方仲伦校长表示：“感谢每一位讲课的老师和助教，我相信我们的同学今天在川大度过了一个很充实的上午，希望以后有机会能再次来学院学习与交流。“随后，各组同学代表也分享了他们的收获和感谢，喊出了各自设计的防灾减灾口号。
In the sum-up meeting, Principal Fang Zhonglun said: "Thank you to every teacher and teaching assistant. I believe that our students have spent a very fulfilling morning in Sichuan University. I hope we can have opportunity to study and communicate at IDMR again in the future. "Afterwards, the representatives of each group also shared their achievement and thanks, and spoke out the slogan of disaster prevention and reduction which designed by themselves.
此外，在课程进行的同时，参加活动的香港岛和双流区校长和老师们共同观摩课程，进行了安全教育交流讨论会。双方学校以此次项目合作为契机，以学院为交流平台，积极推动“蓉港”优质教育资源、教育人才资源互动交流转化，并就缔结“蓉港教育人才友好学校”等进行探讨交流并达成初步意向。
At the same time, the principals and teachers from Hong Kong and Shuangliu attended this curriculum and had a discussion about safety education. Both school took this project as an opportunity and a platform to actively promote the interaction of“Sichuan -Hongkong" high-quality educational resources、the transformation of educational talent resources, and reached a primary intent to establish "Sichuan -Hong kong educational talent friendly school".
时至中午，活动圆满结束，香港的中学生们们学到了与灾害相关的校园应急、逃生避险和紧急医学救助等实用知识和技能，提升了防灾减灾救灾能力；“防灾减灾教育与科普志愿服务队”的研究生们通过课程助教，将所学知识应用与实践；校长们互赠礼品、互相了解双方的教育、教学和学生学习情况，为下一步合作奠定了基础。整个交流活动受到了包括香港岛校长会、香港赛马会、双流区委组织部、双流教育局的高度评价，并表示双方愿意以学院为川港交流平台，在将来进一步加强教育合作和文化交流。
By noon, this project was successfully concluded. Hong Kong middle school students have learned practical knowledge and skills that related to disaster, such as campus emergency, escape safety and emergency medical assistance, which improved their disaster prevention and relief ability. The postgraduate students named "disaster prevention and reduction and science volunteer service team" have learned practical knowledge and applications after being teaching assistants, Principals exchanged gifts and got a better understanding of each other's education、teaching and student’s learning situation, laying the foundation for further cooperation. This project was highly praised by Hong Kong Principals Association, the Hong Kong Jockey Club, the Organization Department of Shuangliu Committee and the Shuangliu Education Bureau, Sichuan and Hongkong expressed their willingness to take IDMR as a platform to strengthen cooperation and cultural exchanges in the future.

Acknowledge： After the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, Sichuan University and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (polyu) established the Institute for Disaster Management and Reconstruction(IDMR) by Hong Kong Jockey Club which has the generous donation of 200 million. IDMR is the first multidisciplinary、wide-range, cross- departmental, international、high level of response to the global disaster、major crisis management, disaster prevention and mitigation education、 post-disaster reconstruction management field, integrating scientific research, professional talent training and an important foundation for social service . This project is aimed to promote the interation between Sichuan and Hong Kong’s teenagers, it mainly focus on sports training, language、academic、sports、culture、history、ancient science, environmental protection, life education, the awareness of disaster prevention, leadership training and team spirit. This is the six-course project.
